Message Indicator Light for Voice Mail (does not work)

Can the message indicator light notify me (blink) when I receive a new voice mail message, rather than the Undo built-in digital answering system?
Answer:
If your Uniden phone has a built-in digital answering system, and you also have "voice mail" through your phone company, the message indicator light will not light up when you have a message in your "voice mail" system. We recommend you discontinue using your "voice mail" and use the Uniden internal digital answering system.
