Storing numbers, names, distinctive rings, and speed dial

Question:

How do I use the phone book to store numbers, names, distinctive rings and speed dial?

Answer:

You can store names, phone numbers, and other information into your phonebook. You can also program this information into speed dial and program distinctive rings.

Please see your owners manual for model specific storing information!

Cordless Phones:  http://www.uniden.com/index/manuals_results.cfm?cat=1

DECT Phones: http://www.uniden.com/index/manuals_results.cfm?cat=59

Things to remember:

  1. Locations are not limited to phone numbers. You can also use calling card numbers or bank account numbers and etc....
  2. You must subscribe to caller ID to use distinctive ring.
  3. On most models the phonebook and caller ID share memory locations. If you are storing a number and it says "Memory Full" then you need to delete some entries from your caller ID.
