Long distance call from my CID list - placing and or dialing 1 before # in CID list

Question:

How can I get a 1 before the number on my CID that I want to call?

Answer:

When receiving a call and the CID information is displayed, if you press */tone this will place or remove the prefix "1" into the display to make a long distance call in the future.

Pressing # will place or cancel an area code when a call is being received on the CID.

TO ADD A "1" BEFORE A NUMBER ALREADY IN CID

In standby mode:

  1. Scroll down to the name and number of the person you are wanting to call.
  2. Push * then 1.
  3. Push Talk.
